Konferencja Wikimedia Polska 2020/en
Join us on the annual WMPL conference which is for the first time ever, happening online! For 3 days we will be discussing Wikimedia in the wider context of knowledge distribution in the times of pandemic, and in connection to cultural and educational institutions. And if you are tired of sitting in front of your laptop, you can join us on a yoga session or... a virtual guided walk through Cracow. While the sessions will be in Polish we want to provide simultanous interpreation to English for some sessions (depending on demand and the translator's availibity and stamina) if there is demand for it. Please fill the registration form and let us know if you are interested in participating and which sessions should be interpreted into English (it's not needed but will help us pick the sessions to interpret and send you conference information) or add yourself to the participants list on wiki.
All sessions will be held on the Zoom platform. All the links will be in the program on the conference day.
Live interpretation: As Zoom does not recognize Polish, it will be disguised as... Portugese. Bom dia! At the bottom of the screen you should see the "Interpretation" icon. Click it and select which language version you want to hear: English or Polish (in Portugese disguise). You will hear the original speaker in the background, for non-verbal context, and you will hear the interpreter in the foreground.
